I work at the intersection of quantum simulation and machine learning to understand how materials behave where reactions truly take place, at the atomic scale. Originally from India, where my fascination with chemistry first took root, I joined this research group as a graduate student in Fall 2026, after earning an M.S. in Chemical & Biological Engineering from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, USA. At UNL, my work explores how the composition and structure of two-dimensional materials shape their properties, with the broader aim of guiding the design of new ones with tailored electronic, magnetic, and catalytic behavior for the next generation of functional and clean-energy technologies.
